Churchill Recognizing the 250th Anniversary of the USA
On Friday, May 22, 2026, the entire Churchill Community formed the number 250 on our Athletic Field to recognize both the Memorial Day holiday and the 250th anniversary of our nation. The outline of the number was 280 feet long by 120 feet high.

Mandarin classes of all levels taught by Yashin Chen and Hui Zhong brought their students to listen to the piece, Fengyang Song, also known as "Flower Drum Song."Some students also performed a short dance with fans brought in by Ms. Zhong and other students played along on a traditional Chinese drum.
